Tandoori chicken is a yogurt-and-spice-marinated chicken dish cooked at high heat until charred, adaptable to a backyard grill or home broiler. The marinade combines a toasted whole-spice masala, Kashmiri chili powder, ginger-garlic paste, and lemon juice; the chicken is served over quickly sautéed onions and bell peppers with lemon wedges.
